T’au are certainly communist-coded and by the far the most benevolent faction and i will die defending them from the lies of imperials. “Mind control pheromones”? Lies. Just like imperialists in real life couldn’t explain most everyone who came in contact with communists becoming communists in China, so they made up the term “brainwashing” to explain how they were mind-controlling people into communism. It’s the same trope.
T’au allow their subjects to live good and fruitful lives, encourage harmony and diversity, encourage peace, and don’t create warp gods. It’s a real thinker why their subjects obey the ethereal leadership when they’ve delivered W after W for centuries and advanced them faster than any known other species.
There was also some bit of lore that while Ethereals were tweaked genetically by some unknown Eldar faction as experiment in creating effective force to counter chaos, they do not have any secret puppetmasters behind them. Tau are honest and they are what they appear to be.
I also think one of the authors also made heavily implies the tau chemically castrate entire planets. That just doesn’t seem like their vibe to me.
Haven’t they also been adding in things to make them seem as bad as the others as people started to like them more?

If you paid attention to the lore of Wolfenstein, you would know that the Nazis are ontologically evil in the game, and thus, it is entirely justified to kill them all. The communists do not have that level of evil within the universe of Wolfenstein, thus, this is not equivalent.

That’s what these freaks used to say all the time when (figuratively) literally every game was racist trash. Now that some high profile games are actually indie hits about non binary witches or explicitly anti fascist they shit and piss themselves that they don’t have any games.
Take your own advice and make your own games. Except they can’t because, in general, fascist are uncreative and lazy. They can neither truly imagine a game they’d like to play much less put pen to paper so to speak and make it.

I thought Notch made Minecraft before going full on CHUD? I could be mistaken though. But even then, it goes to show that the only way they could make a good game is if their politics don’t feature in it at all.

He even made jokes about how the animals in the game can reproduce indiscriminately (because the game had no male or female) and I think for some species have mixed sex characteristics, so basically everything was gay and intersex and so on. He said something like “Screw you, conservatives!” Obviously the reason the game was made that way is for simplicity, he didn’t intend any message behind it, but he still thought it was funny how conservatives get so upset at media having traits like that.
There are theories that he tipped his hand on being an awful reactionary with the update that added Endermen (a little before 1.0 I think), but those two events are years apart and Minecraft was already big by then.
Also, as NOPper said, Infiniminer had the most significant concepts from it already and some of the rest are just severely pared-down Dwarf Fortress.

They don’t actually care about each other. If you notice they won’t do anything for ICE or even join ICE themselves despite how the pay’s probably better. They’re not actually united with each other, they’re united against immigrants, etc. They don’t value life either, they’re fine throwing lives away for the cult of heroism, etc. They chatter online because it’s a safe libidinal release for them, not because they actually like other fascists.
