My least favourite thing about internet media analysis is the people who take their personal opinion and insist that it is objective fact.
The west, being the most mature and virtuous of peoples, realised that colonisation is bad and so they decided to just stop doing it anymore out of the goodness of their hearts.

It will be funny seeing Eurolibs bend over backwards to insist that the US didn’t just take Greenland from Denmark and will probably waffle on about some legal technicality in NATO’s articles and bylaws that actually mean it is ok.

Interesting bit of psychology how CHUDs will always insist they represent the majority, regardless of evidence. They hold their views to be a part of the in group, not because they actually ultimately believe in anything other than fucking people over to get ahead themselves. They never hold a belief because they think it is morally right, it is always because they think believing it will benefit them, and they justify that by insisting everyone else “secretly” supports that idea too.

I have thought it is strange that Nazis idolise Hitler. He was an incompetent coked-out buffoon who only got into power because of liberal enabling. I thought that modern neo-nazis would try to distance themselves from him and “reinvent” naziism. Surprised I’ve seen so little of that sort of thing.
I suppose Fascists don’t really understand why they are fascists, they are just jumping at shadows everywhere and are wholly reactionary.
I suppose this is where blind devotion to the neoliberal order gets you. Everything turns to shit and your only “solutions” will just speed up that process. They know they are all going to be ousted by open fascists within the next few years, what else is there for a ghoul to do except drink?
There must be some kind of repercussion to too much porn consumption. Our monkey brains are just not built to handle it. And when someone indulges too much in it, they become the human pet guy.
The US should overthrow their government just to stop this kind of bullshit.
Even the “Putin is hiding under my bed, I’m too scared of Russia to think straight!” kind of libs don’t buy that Russia is any sort of threat to Greenland.
I wonder if the people in charge in the US honestly are viewing geopolitics as a zero sum game where any part of the world they don’t control is going to be controlled by the other two major players in the world, regardless of practically or material conditions.
