Given the three spoilers, I was expecting far worse.
I guarantee you have seen way more (and worse!) than I have. I’ll admit the triple spoiler was for dramatic effect. Though most people really don’t like knowing what can be in their food, and I try to let them live in blissful ignorance of the supply chain.
I cook frequently so how food gets contaminated is how I learned about flour. I don’t think it’s any more or less contaminated relative to, say, vegetables. It’s more about flour’s ubiquity and used in larger quantities in recipes that make it riskier than other ingredients. Add in that many of those recipes are sweet treats (like sugar cookie dough) that are begging to be eaten raw, and you have the perfect storm for higher rates of food poisoning.
However I have eaten raw cookie dough many times without prepping flour and didn’t get sick, so YMMV. :friend-visitor-4:

for some reason does more massive rants against cowbee.
We salute our legendary posters :07:

I’m replying to a thread with cursed knowledge about heat treating flour before making edible dough. Pinging @ProletarianDictator@hexbear.net
The tame version is that flour doesn’t have a heat-treated step (Pasteurization for milk, for example) so any bacteria from the fields or equipment is not treated.
It’s poop. Rats literally pissing and shidding in grain silos before milling, without a step to remove it. Again, don’t think about it and put yourself back into blissful ignorance.

Good catch. You’re right that bit is suspiciously unreported.

Good had a young son, whose father died in 2023, according to the Star Tribune. “There’s nobody else in his life,” Timmy Ray Macklin Sr., the boy’s grandfather, told the paper. “I’ll drive. I’ll fly. To come get my grandchild.”
Death to ICE

Ah yes, the rebuttal from @TruncatedNameBunchOfNumbers that I’m sure is a real account.

I’d also like to say, that if everyone starts pretending that Totenkopf was just a thing we all knew about like Swastikas, I’m going to lose it. This is a C tier Nazi emblem. You absolutely wouldn’t look twice at it in 99% of real-world situations.
I’m getting back into some old hobbies of mine, and this is a big reason why. I dropped out because their spaces were growing more toxic, but looking back I think that was a mistake.
