Loans conditional on communist reforms

I mean the Persian Gulf, to be clear.

Well, not Iran. They can take the ball and go home (flood the Gulf with mines, etc.) if the US tries a blockade, which would stop the oil flow to the US as well.

Guess what happens to the Gulf when all countries on it are US vassals.

Maybe. It would be a big mistake though. If Iran falls, the US will be able to cut off literally like 80% of the current oil flow to China with minimal consequences to themselves.

Trump on Truth Social:
Effective immediately, any Country doing business with the Islamic Republic of Iran will pay a Tariff of 25% on any and all business being done with the United States of America. This Order is final and conclusive. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
Lol. Who knows what will happen with the Supreme Court tariff ruling tho.
It won’t make much of a difference for Russia since they basically don’t trade with the US at all anymore.
China will probably just tank this and retaliate somehow. They can’t afford to let Iran collapse and be replaced with a US puppet government. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if China gives Iran some kind of bailout.
Could be a deal breaker for many of Iran’s other trading partners though.

Use it before you lose it. The US is already decoupling itself, and they are going to pursue domestic rare earth refining capabilities regardless of what China does.
Now is a pretty good time because the US needs rare earths for their massive military buildup (+$600 billion to the budget).
Also ending US geopolitical hegemony is more important than ending dollar dominance. The latter will come as a result of the former.

In terms of propaganda, don’t underestimate the power of simply mentioning an obscure place in pop culture. It’s like product placement.

First Greenland movie was apparently made during Trump’s first presidency. Neill Blomkamp (semi-based anti-Trump radlib) was set to direct it but he left the project with no reason given. The final director, Ric Roman Waugh, apparently does other US propaganda movies (Angel Has Fallen, Kandahar).
I haven’t actually seen any of these movies, but I wouldn’t rule out long-con psyop on this one.

I wonder if this is something that can be quickly improvised, or if Iran had this technology ready to go.
Maybe something imported from China? They have geopolitical reasons to support Iran and would probably want to test out this type of thing in real world conditions.

Burger pope does the burger reich’s dirty work

The gap in capability between these air defence systems and US made aircraft is far more concerning than US/Israeli ballistic missile defence performance.
Give Russia the geopolitical freedom to put a huge portion of their non-export-gimped air defenses and EW systems in a country the size of Israel and I bet you would see very different results.
Isolated regional powers will never be able to mount a successful defense to superpower weaponry. Especially when they have a lot of territory to cover and a focus on military self-reliance like Iran.

US plan probably was to kidnap/kill Maduro, his wife, Delcy, Diosdado and Padrino
What then? Who would assume the presidency? It would either result in a big, messy civil war (not conducive to oil extraction), or other Chavistas quickly consolidating power.
I wasn’t sure at first, but I don’t think there was an internal betrayal. Simply massive US military/technological advantage. They went in with night vision goggles on stealth helicopters, covered by stealth jets, during a cyber attack, and probably coordinated with other CIA sabotage operations.
I’m convinced that leaving Delcy to assume the presidency was part of the plan. The colectivos and militias have no one to rebel against while the US exerts pressure.

“Defeated with the help of Turkish intelligence” is the story I have seen. Makes sense because Turkey will oppose Kurdish nationalism at every opportunity.

Saudi Arabia is reportedly withdrawing troops from Bahrain.
This account paints it as another snub to the UAE (Israel puppet), but wouldn’t it give them more influence over Bahrain? Not sure I get it

It could be as simple as “Taiwan” (read: US officers) launching a massive volley of missiles at preselected targets and then instantly capitulating. Honestly I don’t know.
All I know is that the US will never quietly give up its hegemony and shrink into a contained sphere of influence.

I maintain my theory that US Taiwan policy has shifted from deterrence to deliberate provocation of a proxy war in order to inflict some blows on China in the hope of setting back their military and economic development a few years to buy time for US hegemony.

Claimed to be footage of this strike (blurred and potato quality)

Second ever Oreshnik MRBM strike likely just happened, this time targeting Lviv in far-western Ukraine. Not 100% confirmed yet, but probably real because Ukraine and the US warned about activity at the Kasputin Yar launch site. Also not surprising because of all the provocations against Russia lately.
The last strike targeted somewhat near the combat line. This one went right to the NATO border, so it’s likely a message to stop fucking around. Might be a direct response to the “coalition of the willing” agreements that were signed by EU members.
Edit: Reports are now saying Russia struck the underground gas storage facilities there. Other reports claim the target was something else.

Don’t underestimate the empire when its hegemony is threatened. I wouldn’t be surprised if this comes along with a crackdown on MIC graft to maximize the effect of the money spent.
