I shop less at Trader Joes despite it being better than the alternative grocers because they don’t have a self-checkout aisle and I don’t know what to say to the cashier.

I avoid Trader Joe’s for a similar reason. The cashiers are supposed to be over the top friendly and it makes me feel awkward because in my mind I’m thinking about how much I would hate having to do that. Whenever someone is forced to be nice to me it feels fake even if it isn’t.

There shouldn’t be any bias in the database these come from since every injury from a consumer product that shows up in ER’s is supposed to be in there.

But I’m not sure if every single incident with the keywords, penis, vagina, rtc is listed in these articles tho. IIRC previous versions of this were longer, so maybe the author chooses ones they find more interesting/shocking

Many of these products do actually contain Viagra and similar drugs. They’ll eventually get pulled from the market and the same guys will form a new company and make a new version.

I have difficulty understanding that level of horniness.

I had a coworker who spent 90% of his time trying to sleep with people. Just constantly trying to do the apps, chatting random people up, dates 5 nights a week. He was also juggling a wife and 100’s of lies that allowed him to be doing 5 dates a week and midday hookups with people who don’t know about the other people.

Obviously scumbag shit, but also it seems so exhausting and pointless. Like you do all that and all you get are some orgasms?

I can vouch for AirVPN. Made the switch when my PIA sub finally ran out. Definitely don’t use PIA, it’s an Israeli company.

It was a seamless switch for me, but I can’t vouch for any of their client software since I only use binhex-QBittorrentVPN.

I did a bunch of these things some months back and mostly got scammed. Mostly because of work not getting approved, bugs and minimum payouts.

In the past I did focus groups with a company that paid pretty good money, but you have to fill out unpaid surveys to get picked for the groups. The company was 20/20 panel.

One trick to any of those kinds of market research things is to game the demographics. Make up your demographics to be the kind of person you think wouldn’t be easy to get market research on. I always made sure to pretend I was employed in a high paid job since I figured they probably have a hard time getting people who make $100k to do a focus group for $500. If you lie, write down the lies because they would ask questions to see if you lied when they call to schedule the group.

I might be able to help with this. I have access to a very large(1mil+) database of ebooks from a non-pirate source. In my experience the pirate sites have most of these books, but there definitely is some non-overlap. It’s especially useful for books that never had an ebook release, as most of the books were OCRed.

I’ll check this comm regularly for unfulfilled requests.
