In 2017, I met an older Korean lady on the Seoul 741 bus. She spoke flawless English and started telling me about her life, in between some bonkers conspiracies about Samsung corporation. She was not well.
She claimed that she worked for Donald Trump, and was personally responsible for janitorial duties in his office. I am willing to believe this part of her story. Because as I learned more about her family and financial situation, it was clear that it was her only hope. She said he was going to remember her and bring her to work in the White House. They talked every day back then, she said - - he would surely be thinking of her
She also was eager for Kim Jong-eun to “rain fire” on Samsung, which she believed was coming any day.
