I’ve played so many strategy games over the last couple months and I think my favourite is still Dominions. The high level of abstraction and dedication to doing as much weird shit as possible is like catnip. I don’t even go for that many of the factions, it’s just T’ien Ch’i and Marignon that I play.
That said, playing four hours of Songs of Syx and three hours of Warno yesterday has given me a strange double tetris effect of exploding nato IFVs and mass-scale iron age furniture production
