Snip:
Iranians honor victims of U.S.-backed unrest in a powerful display of national unity and resistance, as millions flooded the streets across provinces on Sunday, January 11, 2026, to pay tribute to security forces and civilians killed during recent violent disturbances. From Qom to Shiraz, Hamadán to Mashhad, solemn funeral processions transformed into resolute demonstrations against what Tehran describes as a foreign-engineered campaign of terror aimed at toppling the Islamic Republic.
The marches, marked by black attire, Quranic recitations, and chants of “Death to America,” were not merely acts of mourning—they were declarations of defiance. “These martyrs died defending our mosques, our hospitals, and our children,” declared one mourner in Isfahan, holding a photo of a firefighter killed when armed groups torched emergency vehicles. “We will not let their blood be used as an excuse for invasion.”
Iranian authorities have presented evidence linking the violence to external actors, including intercepted communications, seized foreign-made weapons, and financial trails pointing to accounts in Western countries. The Iranian Army issued a formal statement warning citizens of an ongoing “hybrid war” involving local proxies and foreign intelligence services seeking to cripple strategic infrastructure and provoke chaos.
This is why I withhold support for these protests. I always suspect them being started by the US/Israel. Which they almost always are.
