Hitler-saluting billionaire Elon Musk has changed the ‘Iran flag’ emoji on his ‘X’ platform. The flag went from being the up-to-date official Islamic Republic’s flag to the Shah-era ‘Lion and Sun’ version defunct in the late 70s.
The move comes as the US, Israel, UK and their propagandists spread clearly-coordinated propaganda, apparently using old photos and footage together with AI. Their efforts trying to create the impression and fan the flames of a popular ‘monarchist’ uprising — backed by threats of military attack by Trump — and of brutal state repression. The change has been applied across the platform. It forces even official Iranian accounts to display the flag of the corrupt, CIA-installed puppet regime brought down in 1979.
From dancing on TikTok to cheap edits and artificial intelligence to overthrow the government…

Senior US intelligence figures have given away that the ‘unrest’ in Iran is being controlled by Israeli and US intelligence as Trump ramps up regime-change rhetoric. US allies the UAE are making similar moves in Yemen. Israel has also recognised so-called ‘Somaliland’ just across the Gulf from Yemen, in return for an agreement to allow it to build an attack base there that can hit targets in Yemen. It is the only country in the world to recognise the illegitimate breakaway from Somalia. Iran and Yemen form the backbone of resistance to Israel’s genocide in Gaza and Benjamin Netanyahu’s ‘Greater Israel’ plan.
A regime-change campaign is underway against Iran, yet again. Musk is not even trying to be subtle about it.

On my way home from a Palestine rally yesterday, I saw a group of people with a ‘Lion & Sun’ flag, they were gathered around a parking meter to next to their mercades
shocking, really
I have met Iranians locally who fled after the revolution because they were communists, but those people aren’t out there waving the fascist flag of the Shah
I’m actually quite glad this happened.
When this “revolution” fails
- It can be used as a simple clear cut way to establish Twitter’s Zionist agenda (especially as the Afghan and Syria flags are still unchanged - former going on 5 years now)
- It will make the diaspora cope and seethe even harder
- It is another thing that will burn into the minds of anyone who fell for the propaganda - that the people peddling this shit are at the very least - not accurate predictors of the future. Better yet, of they understand them as liars
Alternatively, also the flag of Iran under Mossadegh.
