These clips about sensational and over-the-top completely unbelievable stories are everywhere on douyin and are usually targeting the middle-aged and up demographic with content about the ungrateful younger generations stuffing their parents in a meat grinder for money or refusing to get married and have children. So in a way the falun gong isn’t really doing anything new here, this is just another bullshit story on top of the thousands of others he’s probably appeared in.
