I just learned about Call of Duty’s “Urzikstan,” as their stand-in for scary islamic country. I knew CoD has real guns and equipment, to the point where they license the names. But they cant use real country names (except the US and Russia) because they don’t want to risk actually teaching gamers anything about history or culture.
