I do not believe that continuing marketization of the Chinese economy nor keeping business relations with Israel are necessary or even beneficial towards the end of international socialism’s victory over capitalism.
You think sending troops or their navy to Venezuela, potentially contributing to the escalation to WWIII (as trump et all would see it as a challenge to face down not a deterrent to their invasion/strikes/whatever they have planned) would be good for Venezuela, international socialism or the world in general?
Sorry for being late to reply. I don’t log in to this site too often but I thought I owed you a reply.
I wasn’t talking about China sending troops. I was responding to your question “What do you want from them?” I listed a myriad of non-military bad decisions and paths China chose not to take. Sending troops was never something I proposed in my exchange with you.
Thanks for the reply, Yes China could and should cut economic ties to Israel but imo it wouldn’t actually do anything to hamper their genocide or help Venezuela and would possible harm China’s development into a power being able to counter the US(and their landlocked aircraft carrier Israel) by making them seems like a less safe market for investors, which yes is absolutely an horrible cynical realpolitik decision to make but its a matter of taking the correct moral stand now vs being able to actually counter them physically down the line
