Cabbage speedrun no glitch 0% completionThat would be funny, but Japan has rarely voted in a ruling party other than the Liberal Democrats in modern times, so I don’t imagine she would lose her position unless her party didn’t put her in some safe seat (which UK parties do and I assume Japan would do as well, because no party would want to get a majority but have their leader lose their seat). And don’t forget Truss didn’t need an general election to get appointed or replaced as PM.
The rapid shuffling of butts through the seats of power in the last few years is reminding me of the leadup to the 1848 revolution, where no one wanted to be left holding the hot potato and take the blame when it all goes to shit
