According to the poll, 85% of Greenlanders do not want to become Americans because they believe that the standard of living in Denmark is much higher. In particular, the island’s residents are concerned about crime and expensive medical services in the US.

      Unfortunately Inuits share many of the same issues as the First Nations of canada and the reservations of the US. Sexual assault, poverty, substance abuse, racism, underdevelopment, etc. It’s just more visible because they make up such a large proportion of the population
