i’m amazed that he seems to have leaked this to exonerate himself, and even more amazed that conservatives are going along with it

the further depraved it gets the bigger the lies the ones that are bought it are going to willfully believe. I think it’s probably on the boarder of where they can back out and not damn their humanity, but I don’t see a lot of backing out.

The regime is going to try to sell a false reality to the conservatives as long as possible because of this. The alternate facts or whatever they called it, which got into the main stream during Trump 1 as a concept makes more sense from that perspective
I think the “too far” line has long passed, they live in a different reality and there is only one sure way to deal with them, as I no longer think reeducation would work on them.
