the further depraved it gets the bigger the lies the ones that are bought it are going to willfully believe. I think it’s probably on the boarder of where they can back out and not damn their humanity, but I don’t see a lot of backing out.

Once it’s too far in they literally won’t be able to back out without facing a contradiction that would cause them to kill themselves

The regime is going to try to sell a false reality to the conservatives as long as possible because of this. The alternate facts or whatever they called it, which got into the main stream during Trump 1 as a concept makes more sense from that perspective
