    We aren’t at the stage of fascism where they can sit back and openly say something like “the fuckin’ b*tch deserved it.” Right now - they still have to pretend they have a soul. So they grab at any information - no matter how nonsensical - that federal agents need to kill to protect themselves. I think many rightwingers don’t actually believe it but it’s an in-group lie that’s necessary now.
