Animorphs is getting weird
There’s a good chance that animation was made with the same software that the Animorphs covers were, assuming the animation is as old as it looks. Those used a pretty simple implementation of it to just interpolate between two images in a controlled way, but it could also be used in more advanced ways for more complex animations.
I remember having a DOS program that could morph two photos. Looking online, it was probably RMORF, since I remember that example of a lady’s face morphing into a panther.
