Yeah, I mean literacy has obviously been bad in America for a long time, but I feel like the radlib monoculture leaking pseudo-intellectualism everywhere while people are still just as illiterate makes it a lot more annoying. There’s probably also something to be said about bad elements of recent/modern childrearing harming literacy too, but my only familiarity is with errors that are decades old by this point.
