    There’s six tremors movies.

    Six.

I watched all of them for …research.

My conclusion is that there’s only one tremors movie.

Did you watch the short lived TV series?

Decent monster-of-the-week and more Burt than you could shake a stick at

The producers probably thought people would latch onto Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward as the salt of the earth everymen, but instead it was the 2A zealot people wanted more of.

I mean, he did live out the 2nd Amendment dream of having his home penetrated by an evil being he could kill without mercy

Plus he was also the dad from that one sitcom where his son was an annoying Reaganite

i thought it was cool how the gun nut prepper libertarian couple defy expectations and come to the community’s rescue, and work collectively with everyone to survive and defeat the graboids

i thought i wanted to be Burt but I actually wanted to be Reba McEntire

When I think back on Tremors I’m often reminded of a movie from around the same time that also ended up being late night USA channel fare.

i have never watched tremors but you just know the writers of star trek are constantly fumbling about trying to find excuses to use these sets. ‘no you don’t understand its in character for riker to love westerns’

We used to play tremors on the playground when I was a kid, rule was you had to stand on rocks, or the merry go round, or sit on the swings or the worm would eat you.

Same! Except we had no idea what it was from because we learned the game from older kids and so we assumed it was earthquakes

Earthquakes? Eartquakes?! It’s Lava. The classic has been lava for generations. Citation: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_floor_is_lava

The older kids you learned it from really failed you in not passing down the tradition as it should be. Quicksand is an acceptable replacement, and Graboids (creatures from Tremors) is a clever variant that would give diegetic reason for allowing brief touches of the ground or fast sprints across it for short distances. But as a kid who grew up on the San Andreas fault line, I just can’t accept earthquakes.

No, we had “the floor is lava” which was for inside.

Also we had earthquakes here too

Haven’t seen Tremors since the 90s but I remember liking it.
Reba McEntire’s film debut. I remember being surprised she was in it cause I was a fan of her music and always watched her videos.

one of those movies that was on cable rotation that i would stop to watch every time.

“OK, here’s the plan: we don’t even stop. We ride like hell.”

      and

      “Stupid sumbich. Knocked itself cold.”

      “Cold my ass. He’s dead.”
