    I’m going to say something that is going to sound dismissive, and I don’t intend it to be:

    This sounds a lot like a white dude who’s never been arrested before experiencing the shock of what it’s like to be arrested and processed.

    Again, I don’t mean that in a dismissive way, it’s absolutely outrageous and unjust. People need to hear this, and I don’t really care about some of the “I told you so” as long as opens people’s eyes and radicalizes them.

      Also not saying in a dismissive way: it’s good that they’re experiencing it (okay not-good ) it’s good they’re sharing their experience and recognizing solidarity with the oppressed

      Only those who have seen its unmasked maw can understand the enemy the-deserter

      I don’t really care about some of the “I told you so” as long as opens people’s eyes and radicalizes them.

      Our community must incorporate more of this sentiment in order to survive, IMO.
