    The dumbphone trend seems very silly to me. I simply don’t install or use apps that make me feel bad.

        It’s because the core demand driving them is incoherent. The expensive dumb-on-purpose phone customer wants a device which will run all the regular smartphone apps, including the ones to summon their pizza slaves, but not including the specific ones that make them feel bad.
