To be clear, I’ve played DnD and Pathfinder before but I’ve played less than a dozen sessions and it was always just “bring a character and we’ll drop them in and play a module”.

This was my first time with a DM walking me through character creation and collaborating on backstory and lore. Then we had a one-on-one where we fleshed out potential arcs, roleplayed some scenes, and finally played the scene that will meet me up with the party.

Just wanted to share because it was great, my last group fell through months ago after just a couple sessions, and this one seems solid, so I’m excited.
