    There really isn’t much difference between the food in Britain, Germany, Sweden, etc.

    Makes sense when you look at it materially instead of from a place of nationalism. Why would there be significant differences between their foods? Those regions have access to the same basic foodstuffs and have the same basic climates. Of course they’d be similar.

      Additionally, the unspoken reality here is that we are all picturing some kind of imaginary essential pre-globalization cuisine and ignoring the fact that people in all of these countries are just as likely to eat a meal at a fucking McDonalds.
