i’ve had similar thoughts about hexbear for a while now too, i’ve been burnt out on it and for a while it just made me sad. i know both last year and this year people made comments on the site generally being less active as well.
carcosa getting kicked out would be absolutely wild but unfortunately wouldn’t be unprecedented.
while i’m glad that the worst of it is over and the situation with at least one of the mistreated users was resolved, i do not like how it was pretty much just swept under the rug considering how bad it got and how much damage was done. i believe some people claimed a user had to go the ER due to distress related to all of the 2024 nonsense and i think that also had to do with frauddog to a degree, if you weren’t already aware.
